Project scope: Through competitive public bidding, Epic was awarded this $7 million contract for the reconstruction of the famous Belmar Boardwalk. Severely damaged by Hurricane Sandy, Epic’s contract included new driven piles, timber replacements and eco-friendly composite decking.

Jointly by FEMA, state and local funding sources, the 1.3 mile boardwalk project included ADA-compliant access and other related improvements.

Aggressive scheduling and planning by Epic resulted in an early completion in just four months.
